You can tell from the language we use; language always gives you away.
Fucking creates human life, it’s fun, and it can help create and maintain important relationships. And yet, we treat the word fuck like it’s more vile than killing. Shows where you see people shot are “Rated PG”, shows that say fuck are “Rated PG-13”, and shows that actually show fucking are “Rated X”. We are more afraid of hearing the word fuck than seeing people shot.
“Ass, cunt, damn, god, jesus, faggot, fuck, hell, etc.” Our swear words reveal that fear of religion and sex are deeply engrained parts of society.

I’m curious about what offended you enough to write that comment. Swearing, pointing out that fear of god and sex is embedded into the English language, other?

1 @bigboy Way to be the bigger man. You truly are a bigboy.
Although you’re doing a great job with your website, ;-P don’t get me wrong.
2. @Jared I don’t think John really exists. Check out his link. I have a few like him on my website, which doesn’t even have anything yet. When you’re scrolling through the list to accept comments, see if various spammers share the same url or email. And then look at and compare their username and message.

I didn’t approve john’s comment – it just made it through. I rarely look at the spam folder, for the most part wordpress handles the comments. The filter automatically publishes comments that aren’t labeled spam. But yeah, that comment does sound pretty robotic. It’s unlikely it was a human. Although, it’s probaby not getting multiple comments with that same url or email. I think if it spammed one comment with that url it would spam all of them. I went ahead and deleted it but didn’t mark it as spam.

Ah, I didn’t know you had your website set to automatically publish comments that aren’t marked as spam. Yeah, if one url is marked as spam, no others with the url will get through. What I meant, though, is that if an email does get approved with x url\email, all others with x url\email will get auto-approved regardless of content (unless you mark it otherwise).
